Pierre and François Lamoureux - Filmmakers, Music Producers and Musicians
Pierre and François Lamoureux excel in assembling the right creative and technical teams to ensure that art survives technology. Their films and recordings, which they have directed and produced on four continents, have won a Grammy Award, two Emmy Awards, two Gemini Awards, two Juno Awards and a multitude of music and broadcast industry awards and nominations. Their productions have aired and screened all over the world and have sold multiple millions of copies on BluRay, DVD and CD. Pierre and François Lamoureux direct and produce two series currently airing nationally on Public Television: "Speakeasy" and "Front and Center".
The Lamoureux brothers graduated with Bachelor of Music degrees from McGill University where they studied classical, jazz and electronic music, sound recording and orchestration. During and in addition to their studies, Pierre and François logged thousands of hours perfecting their skills at McGill's sound recording and electronic music studios. Prior to attending McGill, Pierre studied at Cambrian College of Arts and Technology and graduated with a Diploma in Performing Arts.
